Ø   Cheval Québec (CQ) membership card is mandatory.  By holding a CQ card, you are covered for insurance.

Ø   Your horse must have an CQ meritas number to compete. This is free through the CQ.

Ø   All classes will start at 8 am sharp

Ø   All entry fees must accompany all entry forms

Ø  Helmets are obligatory for riders 13 years & under(age as of January 1^st, 2023) in ALL classes and any time while mounted on the grounds and for riders 18 & under (age as of January 1^st, 2023) in gymkhana classes.

Ø   You must have proof of the age of your horse in order to compete in classes with age requirements.

Ø   You must register and pay at least five classes in advance to enter an additional class. Please note that the class that is presently in the ring competing does not count, as a class to register it is the class that is on deck that counts.

Ø  NO EXCEPTIONS

 

ALL-AROUND BUCKLE

 

Once again,this year donated by CEPWE to the All-Around high point winner of 2023. To be eligible to win this buckle, you must compete in Open English Equitation, Open Western Equitation & Open Trail. You must compete in all three classes on the same day for your points to count toward the year-end all-around buckle. This is always one of the most beautiful buckles at the year-end gala, so why not making winning it one of your goals for 2023!

 

Changes to the Class List

 

It is very important to note the changes to this year’s class list.

Concurrent Classes & One Run Format

 

Please note that in taking consideration of time and the horse's well being CEPWE has decided to have the reining and gymkhana classes be a one run class. This means that 1 rider and horse team will be able to run the selected reining pattern for the day. You will still register for your reining classes that you would like to participate in but you will only do one run. The horse can't be shared with another rider. As for the gymkhana classes you may register multiple classes but only 1 rider and horse team will be able to compete for each specified class.

 

Additionally, several classes will run concurently. Ribbons, points & prize money will be awarded for each class individually.  

 

Volunteers Needed

 

Volunteers are always needed the day of the show. If you have a little extra time and would like to help, or you would like to become more active in the club, please do not hesitate to speak with one of the directors. Or if you have family members or friends that would like to help, that would be greatly appreciated. Experience with horses is not mandatory.
